Gamber-Johnson to Unveil New Material Handling 7 and Technology at PROMAT 2019

Gamber-Johnson, a leading supplier of rugged mounting systems for fleet vehicles, public safety vehicles, forklifts, and other mobility applications, announced today that it will unveil new products and technology solutions during the ProMat 2019 event taking place April 8th – 11th in Chicago, Illinois. The new products and technology will provide efficiencies for individuals, teams, and facility/warehouse managers when working with material handling/lift vehicles.

Gamber-Johnson’s new product highlights include:

Zebra TC8000 Powered Cradle:

  • Cradle for Zebra TC8000 handheld computer incorporating a patented Gamber-Johnson slam latch design with keyed lock
  • A power-charging cradle with USB hub for attaching external devices
  • Fits into cradle with or without added hand strap
  • Allows for TC8000 battery charging while device is on a vehicle
  • Shake and vibration tested

Samsung TA2 Docking Station with Dual USB:

  • Newly designed docking station to help users connect additional peripheral technology to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 tablet
  • Features two USB 3.0 powered ports, each port provides 1.5 amps of power. The docking station’s load-sensing technology determines the appropriate amount of power to provide to a device
  • Connect a scanner, keyboard and/or printer for a complete warehousing solution

Panasonic L1 Docking Station:

  • A companion for the Panasonic Toughbook FZ-L1 Android Tablet, the FZ-L1 docking station supports the logistics, transportation, material handling, and POS industries
  • Available with USB 2.0 port replication and as a cradle with no electronics
  • Accommodates tablet’s large battery, barcode reader, and rotating hand strap
  • Features easy-to-use one-hand operation for docking and release, and includes “slam latch” with keyed lock for theft deterrence

Universal Tablet Cradle:

  • A rugged universal solution to keep tablets safe
  • Supports mobile office environments for industries including utility, public safety, transportation/logistics, and service/delivery
  • Height, width, and depth adjustable to fit a large variety of tablets sizes
  • Once adjusted for fit, tablets can be easily installed and released with one hand
  • Designed and tested to MIL-STD 810G shock and vibration standards, and equipped with keyed lock for theft deterrence

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 – Mobility Bundle & Y-Hand Strap:

  • Accessory allows wearer to access Tab Active2 device with hands-free functionality
  • Features quick-release removable carry handle and shoulder strap
  • Y-Hand Strap with hand padding offers a simple and comfortable solution when using the Tab Active2 in both landscape and portrait mode
  • Allows for improved ergonomics and productivity
  • Both the Mobility Bundle and Y-Hand Strap allow device to remain installed while docked in the Gamber-Johnson dock

Gamber-Johnson’s 15’ x 25’ booth at ProMat 2019 will also feature new products including wiring harnesses, rugged cup holders, and Zirkona mounting solutions.
