MODEX is all about bringing supply chain professionals together to share stories learn from each other; and come away ready to take on new challenges. And, who better to help do that than Peyton Manning, two-time Super Bowl champion and five-time NFL MVP, and his father Archie Manning, also a former NFL quarterback and patriarch of the famous Manning family. During this keynote, they will share their stories about the power of teamwork, collaboration, preparation and giving back—both on the field and in business.

MHI Industry Night with Hasan Minhaj

Speaker: Hasan Minhaj

This event includes live music, food, drinks and entertainment by comedian Hasan Minhaj. Tickets are $50 and include beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres. Hasan Minhaj is the host and creator of the weekly comedy show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj that premiered on Netflix October 2018. His one-hour Netflix comedy special, Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King, earned him a 2018 Peabody Award. In January, he won the 2020 Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series-Musical or Comedy. A first-generation American, Minhaj joined The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in November 2014 as a correspondent and continued on in that role after Trevor Noah took over as host the following year.

Women in Supply Chain Industry Forum

In today’s business environment, change is happening at a rapid pace. To be prepared, show-goers can attend an afternoon of Professional and Leadership Development on Change Management, with keynote speaker, Mary Kelly, Ph.D., CSP, CDR, U.S. Navy (Ret.). Whatever level you are as a change manager, this program can provide new ideas and tools to use in your organization. In this session, Kelly will help attendees understand the stages of change and provide practical ways to embrace and manage change, for development and the advancement of organizations. The session will include a one-hour workshop to leverage tools one can use.

MHI Young Professionals Networking Event

Monday, March 9 | 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Network and connect with other young professionals in the material handling and supply chain industry. No registration required. Two free drink tickets per person. Pre-registration is not required to attend—just wear your MODEX 2020 badge.

Atlanta Supply Chain Awards

Tuesday, March 10 | 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

The Atlanta Supply Chain Awards will be collocated with MODEX 2020. This event spotlights dedicated professionals and outstanding organizations who are leading the way in the Metro Atlanta Supply Chain community. A portion of proceeds will benefit valuable community service programming from APICS, CSCMP Atlanta Roundtable and the Metro Atlanta Chamber. Additional registration and fee required.

Wednesday, March 11 | 8:30am-5:00pm: Student Day Event

In its 17th consecutive year, MHI, in partnership with Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) and the Material Handling Education Foundation (MHEFI), presents Student Day at MODEX 2020 on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.

This interactive event for CTE, high school and university students reportedly connects them with the best in the industry through real-world discussions with industry experts; a guided tour of the show floor; and networking with professionals who can support their career growth.

The highlight of the day is the guided tour of the MODEX 2020 show floor, led by industry experts and the opportunity to meet with exhibiting companies who are looking for future employees. Along with gaining a real-world understanding of the products, services and technologies that enable the supply chain, students will walk away feeling inspired and empowered with a broader network of professionals who can support their career goals.
