Toyota Material Handling (TMH), has announced more than 190 options that will become available in 2020 across most of its Class III models. The first 150 were released in March and an additional 40 options will become available later this fall.

These new options will provide customers with standardized pricing and availability, reduced lead times, and a variety of unique customization options for improved productivity and efficiency.

Toyota’s new optional features include many popular choices such as accessory bars with power hookups, an operator cooling fan, LED work lights, and several options designed with low-level order picking operations in mind.

Later this fall, many Class III models will come standard with increased travel speeds and will provide customers with a wider range of options to increase overall truck productivity on Toyota’s Large Electric Walkie Pallet Jack, End-Controlled Rider Pallet Jack, the Center-Controlled Rider Pallet Jack, as well as the Core Tow Tractor.

“Toyota customers have a wide range of needs and they depend on us to provide them with innovative solutions,” said Tony Miller, TMH Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering. “Giving our customers more customizable options is just another example of how we are working to meet and exceed each customer’s unique needs while optimizing the productivity and efficiency of their businesses.”

In addition to the newly released options, Toyota is now offering power steering as a standard feature on all Center-Controlled Rider Pallet Jacks and Core Tow Tractors. This feature comes complete with improved ergonomics and steering that requires less effort to operate. Operators can also adjust the height to suit their preference. Conventional steering will remain an available option on these models.
