Selecting Flame Resistant Gloves

This paper overviews current workplace challenges related to workers wearing gloves and how safety managers and other buyers can choose gloves that confer proper protection and support wearability. Particular focus is given to gloves certified to be compliant with NFPA® 2112 Standard on Flame-Resistant Clothing for Protection of Industrial Personnel Against Short-Duration Thermal Exposures from Fire (NFPA® 2112-18). This standard now provides recommendations for PPE that includes gloves.
