Omtec Adds Traction Coating to its PBT-1™ Transfer Worksurface Products

Maker of ergonomic conveyor accessories adds new layer of handling protection  

Materials handling systems manufacturer Omtec^® Corporation recently expanded its line of ergonomic workstation and conveyor accessories to include LINE-X^® coated worksurfaces. The Marlboro-based company added the protective surface option after a trial launch for select applications last year generated significant interest among distributors and their customers.

Providing a harder surface than standard workstation laminate or wood at a fraction of the cost of steel, LINE-X protective coatings provide reliable chemical, water, impact and wear resistance, while ensuring high-traction, slip-free materials handling. Spray applied to Omtec’s custom transfer systems and worksurfaces, attractive LINE-X textured coatings are durable, easy to clean and maintenance-free. Black and other colors are available.
