Regal Rexnord Corporation to Display Sortation System at LogiMAT 2023

As a reminder to its initial announcement in February, Regal Rexnord Corporation, a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of electric motors and controls, power generation products and power transmission components, will feature its mobile, scalable, approachable and energy-efficient end-of-the-line sortation system, ModSort^®, at LogiMAT 2023, booth 1A41 in Hall 1. The show takes place at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre (Stuttgart, Germany) from April 25-27.

Visitors to the company’s booth can view a demonstration of the Regal Rexnord ModSort plug and play, divert and transfer module. ModSort is an electric-powered sortation solution capable of handling a range of products from small polybags to boxes up to 30 kg at rates up to 3000 pph. The unit is powered by an energy-efficient and safe 120V AC power supply, and operates at only 72 dB, about the same amount of sound generated by a household washing machine.

ModSort uses System Plast^® belts, which utilize rotating spheres to provide a high degree of motion control and the ability to convey packages in any direction. The system installs in under a week, and additional sort zones can be added or removed to accommodate future changes in capacity requirements. As a last mile sorter, ModSort eliminates the need for manual sortation while contributing to a quieter, safe and energy-efficient work environment.
