USI-Sonixs Side Seal Strapping System from EAM-Mosca

EAM-Mosca’s USI side-seal strapping system is designed to strap large packages and shipping units such as white goods, cabinetry, and office furniture. The system has a pallet lance option to enable strapping of palletized loads through the pallet void and a powerful high-tension Sonixs ultrasonic strapping head proven in robust unitizer compression strapping systems. Available in four arch sizes, the low maintenance USI-Sonixs operates reliably with Polyester (PET) or Polypropylene (PP) strapping from 9mm to 12mm in width delivered by a floor mounted strap dispenser with spring assisted uncoiling. The USI-Sonixs meets the needs of customers requiring high-tension and stronger straps for stabilizing pallet loads and un-palletized product units. The proprietary Sonixs sealer indexes pneumatically up to 18” to meet the incoming load to ensure tight straps. A sensor stops head advancement on contact.
