Kask America Doubles Down on Its Chicago Manufacturing
As supply chain conversations and economic uncertainty continue across the U.S. and beyond, KASK America is stepping up with a more regional and reliable approach. The company has invested in U.S.-based production and logistics to help distributors, partners, and customers across North America – including both the U.S. and Canada – navigate what comes next.
While many companies are watching and waiting, KASK is leaning into action. Some of its most popular safety helmet lines – the PRIMERO Series, the ZENITH X2 Series and the new ZENITH X2 MAX – made specifically for the North American market – are currently being manufactured in Chicago. This has allowed KASK to shorten delivery times, limit shipping costs, and keep its network better supplied.
Beyond manufacturing, KASK is also working to keep pricing as consistent and predictable as possible – especially for its distributor network. Local production helps limit exposure to rising freight costs and unexpected fees, which means fewer surprises down the line.
The KASK manufacturing footprint includes both the United States and Italy, depending on the product line. But for North America, expanding U.S.-based production has proven to be a better way to support regional demand while avoiding the volatility of global shipping and potential tariff shifts.
“We made the strategic decision four years ago to manufacture products in North America to better serve our customers – and we’re glad we did,” said Marta Beltramello, sales & marketing director – safety, Kask. “By producing key products in Chicago, we’ve created a shorter, more dependable supply chain. That means better service for our partners across North America.”
