Diversified Plastics Inc. Introduces New Robotic Cell

Diversified Plastics Inc., a leading international rotational molder based out of Latta, South Carolina, introduces a new robotic cell to their manufacturing facility.

This robotic cell was created by Advanced Integration Technology, LLC. The machine will assist in the trimming processes at the facility. The capabilities of the robotic cell allow the trimming to be done safely and more efficiently with less scrap. This manufacturing process can be dangerous, so the robots can complete this in a safer manner than a human.

Robots from Advanced Integration Technology have the ability to auto adjust to accommodate multiple shaped parts at different dimensions, allowing the robot to assist in the production of many different product lines.

Diversified Plastics has added over 18, 000 sq. ft to their current facility to house the new robotic cell and new rotational molding oven. This building expansion will accommodate the growth of the company’s new product lines and custom rotational molding.
