Clark Material Handling Earns Best Places to Work in Kentucky for 2020

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) have ranked CLARK Material Handling Company – a top-ten global manufacture of forklift trucks and spare parts – as one of the BEST PLACES TO WORK in KENTUCKY for 2020.

This marks the third time CLARK has earned the BEST PLACE to WORK in KENTUCKY designation, with previous recognition in 2013 and 2019.

This designation applies to both of CLARK’s Kentucky facilities: their American Headquarters and manufacturing plant in Lexington, and, its state-of-the-art parts distribution center in Louisville.

“For over 100 years CLARK has been known in the material handling industry as employing the most knowledgeable, highest quality and overall BEST people in the industry.  Our employees are the reason that CLARK is a Best Place to Work,” said Dennis Lawrence, president and CEO.

“This recognition is particularly meaningful because it’s based primarily on feedback received directly from our employees.  Our employees and our culture are the heartbeat of CLARK.  As CLARK continues to grow, we will continue to foster a workplace environment built on employee commitment, teamwork, integrity, corporate citizenship and the pursuit of excellence,” said Sherry Myers, human resources manager.
