Crown Equipment Introduces Electric Pallet Jack Solution
Crown Equipment Corporation has announced the availability of the Crown WJ 50 Series electric pallet jack, a durable, right-sized solution to help increase productivity and reduce operator fatigue. The compact electric pallet jack is designed for a variety of load handling applications requiring maneuverability in tight spaces.
The WJ 50 Series pallet jack’s performance and durability is backed by an exclusive 3-2-1 warranty that features three-year coverage on chassis and forks, two-year coverage on batteries and one-year coverage on major components. The pallet jack’s robust design includes a steel handle and steel skirt that provide rugged protection for easily serviceable internal components, and the adjustable, reinforced chassis/fork assembly is made of high-tensile steel. The strong motor, large driving wheel and ramp hold capability provide outstanding traction and excel over a wide range of conditions and inclines.
The WJ 50 Series is the most compact electric pallet jack Crown offers, with the shortest head length in the industry and the tightest turning radius of any powered pallet jack. It allows operators to handle loads up to 3,300 pounds in tight spaces with minimal effort. Because it is compact, lightweight and maneuverable, the WJ 50 Series is easy to transport and maneuver inside a delivery truck, on a lift gate and in confined spaces such as elevators. Sophisticated access control features built into the pallet truck control handle prevent unauthorized access.
With electric driving, lifting and lowering, the WJ 50 Series is designed to reduce fatigue and help operators maintain a higher level of productivity. The ergonomic control handle, with its large lift and lower button, is easily accessible from both sides and allows the operator to blend multiple functions simultaneously regardless of the travel direction.
The WJ 50 Series is available with multiple 48-volt V-Force® Li-Ion batteries, to cover a wide range of applications while consuming 39 percent less energy versus the industry average. This increased efficiency, convenient charging options including a 10A onboard charger, easy swap battery modules and real-time battery charge status showing available runtime in hours and minutes all contribute to the WJ 50 Series’ ease of use and low cost of ownership. Convenient Work Assist options also provide onboard storage for tools and supplies that support application requirements.
