Crown Equipment Launches ‘Build My Truck’ Feature

New online tool helps customers identify, build and quote a Crown lift truck

Crown Equipment, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, has announced the release of the crown.com Build My Truck feature. When used in conjunction with Crown’s Forklift Product Selector, this self-service tool helps customers create lift truck configurations that meet their requirements and specific application needs.

The Build My Truck feature advances Crown’s vision to provide personalized and accessible tools that streamline the customer journey. Using selection categories in the Forklift Product selector, such as capacity and lift height, customers can use the Build My Truck feature to select a lift truck based on their specific application and then configure the product with individual options or pre-selected option packages that meet their application’s requirements.

When using the Build My Truck feature, customers are asked to create an account, which enables them to create, store and retrieve lift truck configurations. Each configuration can be submitted separately for a quote request. Live chat is available with the Build My Truck feature to provide additional configuration support as needed.

The Build My Truck feature, Forklift Product Selector and the Crown Service Request app are all electronic tools designed to deliver a streamlined, flexible customer experience. In addition, select forklifts, parts and accessories are available 24/7 for online purchase.
