Makita Introduces New Autofeed Screwdriver With Push Drive Technology

Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools and accessories, announces the new 18V LXT® Brushless 6,000 RPM Autofeed Screwdriver (model XRF03Z) The Autofeed Screwdriver delivers superior fastening speed to handle a variety of materials and applications.

The Autofeed Screwdriver uses a Makita-built brushless motor to achieve a maximum fastening speed of 6,000 RPM and can be used in a variety of work environments. It can drive up to 2,250 screws with Push Drive™ Technology on a single charge of an 18V LXT 5.0Ah Battery. Push Drive enables the user to operate the tool but only has the motor running when the fastener engages for longer run times and reduced noise.

Switching from a work environment that requires different materials to be installed is achievable with the Autofeed Screwdriver as it can accept screws ranging from 1 inch to 2-3/16 inches. The depth that the fastener is installed can be adjusted using a one-touch wheel that allows the fasten to either sit at the surface of the material or below depending on the application.

Engineered for continuous use, the Autofeed Screwdriver is both compact and ergonomic at only 15-5/8 inches long and weighs only 4.9 pounds (with battery) for reduced operator fatigue. The handle is designed with the user in mind with a comfortable rubberized grip and as well as a lock-on button for continuous use.

The LXT System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries, takes a user from power tools to outdoor power equipment to get the job done. Makita purpose-built motors, battery technology, and enhanced communications work together to deliver unmatched power, speed, and run time. With solutions for every trade, users get maximum performance and efficiency with the LXT System.
