New Thermistors and Room Temperature Sensors from AutomationDirect

AutomationDirect has added new ProSense thermistor temperature sensors in a wide range of probe and installation styles. The 10K3 series sensors offer hex nipple probes, attached plug probes, lead wire transition probes, flange mount probes, bolt-on ring probes, cuttable probes, new bead and junction box probe styles, and more. They provide high accuracy and fast response times at a low cost.

The new thermistor temperature sensors are NTC 10k Type 3, with a negative temperature coefficient and a nominal resistance of 10,000 ohms at 25 °C. They are compatible with many control devices, including the AutomationDirect BRX and Productivity PLC platforms, which offer thermistor input modules that support this curve type.

Also, new wall-mount ambient temperature sensors have been added to the existing line of RTD and thermocouple room sensors.

The new ProSense temperature sensors are made in the USA, offer a 1-year warranty, and start at $23.50.
