PSENmlock with Escape Release, Combined with Pilz Control Technology, the Complete Solution for Guard Monitoring

Safe Guard Locking, Safe Interlock and Flexible Escape Release in a Single Product

The safety gate system PSENmlock provides safe interlocking and safe guard locking for personnel and process protection up to the highest safety category PL e. The safe guard locking is enabled by the two-channel control of the guard locking. That makes the switch particularly suitable for machines with dangerous overrun in which guard locking up to PL d or PL e is necessary.

The Package Optionally Includes: Flexible Escape Release

As optional accessories for the safety gate sensors PSENmlock, there are two new versions of the escape release available, which can be combined with all types of the safety gate sensor: A bar is used to connect PSENml escape release directly to the base unit, while PSENml escape release cordset is mounted on PSENmlock via a pull-push wire. The latter enables the installation of the safety gate system and escape release to be physically separate. It is particularly easy to install and low-maintenance, as the pull-push wire does not have to be under tension. So both versions of the optional escape release ensure maximum safety.

Robust Design and High Holding Force for Heavy Doors

With a holding force of 7500 N, the safety gate system PSENmlock prevents guards from opening inadvertently and offers maximum safety. Thanks to the optional escape release, PSENmlock can also be used for accessible doors to machines which have hard-to-see hazardous areas. The remote escape release offers the option of installing the safety gate switch at a place that the operator is unable to reach, meaning your employees are optimally protected in the event of danger.

PSENmlock Used in the Modular Safety Gate System for all Applications

The PSENmlock with escape release can be used in the Pilz safety gate system package which contains not only both safety gate sensors (PSENmlock and PSENslock), but also various accessories such as different escape releases and handle types for swing or sliding gates. A pushbutton unit that can be used with both safety gate sensors completes the system. Together with the diagnostic solution Safety Device Diagnostics (SDD) and in combination with Pilz control technology, the result is an economical, complete solution for the safety gate sector.
