Sensidyne Announces New Approvals for the SensAir® Fixed Gas Detector Series

Sensidyne, LP, a trusted supplier and manufacturer of industrial health and safety instrumentation and accessories, announces new approvals for its cost-effective SensAir fixed gas detector. Sensidyne has received Class 1, Division 1 and Division 2, Groups B, C, D hazardous area approvals for SensAir in the USA and Canada. In addition, they have received ATEX and IECEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 European approvals.

SensAir is a cost-effective option for price-sensitive gas detection applications. It is available in combustible, toxic and oxygen versions. With many of the features of the more robust gas detectors, SensAir is a great value with high-performing and fast responding sensors, easy installation and maintenance, and non-intrusive zero and span adjustments.

It is available with a bright LED display or a blind option. The rugged, explosion-proof enclosure comes in both aluminum and stainless steel with horizontal or vertical conduit orientations. A remote combustible sensor option is also available.
