BUFF Safety Presented Best in Class New Products for 2022-23 at the A+A Trade Fair

BUFF® Safety has once again participated in the renowned A+A trade fair, one of the most important international conferences in the field of occupational safety, held from October 26-29 in the Düsseldorf, Germany.

BUFF Safety showcased its expertise in the design and manufacture of neck and head accessories in the field of occupational safety. It also presented its latest designs and innovations for the new 2022-23 collection.

Among the main product launches, the Firefighter Particulate Hood and Arm Sleeves were unveiled.

The Firefighter Particulate Hood is a new flame-resistant balaclava certified as category III PPE, designed for the protection of firefighters. It has excellent flame-resistant and antistatic properties with the addition of Nomex® Nano Flex technology to create an extra layer of protection against dermal exposure to toxic and carcinogenic nanoparticles with an efficiency of 99 percent. It is ideal for use in environments with thermal hazards such as flashover, contact heat and radiant heat and acts as a barrier against harmful particles.

The new Arm Sleeves have been certified as category II PPE for high visibility and skin protection against UV radiation. They are designed to wick away moisture and sweat quickly and efficiently, making them an ideal accessory for medium- to high-intensity work in hot outdoor environments.

Both products feature HeiQ Smart Temp cooling technology for increased comfort and reduced risk of fatigue, dehydration, and heat stroke.

In addition to these new developments, the brand also presented impactful new colors and designs of its existing line of products. It also showed improvements developed for some of its existing accessories, such as the incorporation of HeiQ Smart Temp treatment into the Firefighter Hood and the Arc Protect+FR family, and the use of PrimaLoft® BIO™ in the Polar family of products. Combined these will form the new 2022-23 collection.

This innovative PrimaLoft® fabric brings a new approach to sustainability without compromising the performance and comfort of the leading thermal insulation fabric, throughout the entire life cycle of the garment. The main innovation lies in the composition of the fibers, which has enabled PrimaLoft to create the world’s first 100 percent recycled synthetic fabric and insulation designed to return to nature.

BUFF Safety also unveiled the new certifications for 33 of its product families and 111 internationally certified PPE products.
