Get Better Protected with Workbrutes G2

Tingley Rubber Corporation, a leading supplier of protective footwear and clothing, announces improvements to fit, functionality, and styling for PVC overboots now available from the Workbrutes® G2 brand. “Our customers let us know that our original Workbrutes® needed improvements,” said Robert N. Petersen, Senior Product Manager for Tingley Rubber, “and from working closely with them during design and testing we know that the Workbrutes G2 will fit much better and will be incredibly easy to put on.”

Workbrutes G2 have wider ball widths, higher toe boxes and overall larger proportions to better fit the larger types of footwear that are worn by workers in food processing, petrochemical refineries, concrete pouring, agricultural, large animal veterinary care and other applications.

Additional improvements include refinements in styling, innovative expansion pleats and unique grips to help making donning easier. Petersen added, “Feedback was excellent from wear test trials with our customers on design, fit, and ease of donning. One new element that people really liked was incorporation of a unique thumb pocket and texturing at the top opening which allows a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning.”

The Workbrutes G2 line includes three different heights giving users the choice of coverage for their specific needs. The line includes ankle height, 10 in height, and a 17 in height. “We’re really excited to have a 17 in height overboot back in the line, especially for our customers who work on farms or work all day pouring concrete”, said Petersen.

Workbrutes G2 are injection molded using high quality PVC for a seamless construction that is 100% liquid proof and provides resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, fats and oils. All styles feature a self-cleaning, cleated outsole that spits out debris to provide excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. The two taller styles feature a molded in button and two button holes for secure fit and protection.

These improvements and innovations from Workbrutes G2 overboots add new levels in performance, safety and comfort to Tingley’s already wide range of protective footwear.
