PS Safety Access Rolls Out New Line Of EdgeHalt Ladder Safety Gates Featuring Slam-Proof Technology

PS Safety Access™, a division of PS Industries^® Incorporated, is introducing a new lineup of EdgeHalt^® Ladder Safety Gates. The safest safety gates on the market, these new gates feature Slam-Proof™ technology that closes each gate in a quiet, controlled manner. They have been tested to meet or exceed OSHA, ANSI and Canada COHS standards, providing top- and mid-rail protection to minimize the chances of a fall from elevated platforms, mezzanines or ladderways.

In addition, the springs have been tested to exceed one million cycles and are guaranteed for life. All models feature a wide range of adjustability that simplifies installation and allows for a compact shipping box, reducing shipping costs by an average of $8-$18 or more per gate.

The new EdgeHalt Ladder Safety Gate single model has been tested to the OSHA, ANSI and Canada COHS standards and exceeds the loading requirement by two times. It covers an opening size of 15 inches to 50 inches, with an adjustability of up to 10 inches per gate.

The new EdgeHalt Posi-Stop Ladder Safety Gate is for situations where there isn’t a regular railing or surface for a strike plate to stop or rest in place against. This unit covers an opening size of 15 inches to 30 inches, with an adjustability of up to 10 inches per gate.

Finally, the new EdgeHalt Posi-Stop Double Ladder Safety Gate is for applications that require an adjustable paired gate, ideal for situations where side room is limited and the swing area of the gate needs to be minimized. This model covers opening sizes of 20 inches to 60 inches, with an adjustability of up to 10 inches per gate.

All new EdgeHalt Ladder Safety Gates are available in three finishes: Powder Coat Yellow (PCY), Hot-Dipped Galvanized (GAL) and 304 Stainless Steel Seal Welded (304SW).
