Tingley Introduces Flite Safety Toe Work Shoes

Tingley is excited to announce the Flite® Safety Toe Work Shoe, an extension to the highly successful Flite Knee Boot product line.

“We spent a lot of time in the field working with end users and listening to their needs. Several users remarked that the Flite Work Shoe was the most comfortable shoe they’ve ever worn,” said Robert N. Petersen, senior product manager, Tingley.

Flite Work Shoes are injection molded from Aerex 1.5.5® for a seamless construction that is 100 percent liquid-proof.

“Not only is Aerex lightweight and durable, but there are millions of tiny air pockets trapped in the material to help keep your feet warmer in the cold and cooler in the heat,” added Petersen.

Aerex also reportedly provides resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalies, fats and oils.

“These new work shoes include a composite safety toe that meets ASTM F2413-18 toe impact and compression requirements, and the outsoles are made from nitrile rubber in a cleated tread pattern for outstanding slip resistance on wet-clean and wet-contaminated surfaces,” said Petersen.

The 6-inch height, lace-less work shoes reportedly feature an easy grip thumb pocket making donning a breeze, while the wrap around heel kick allows hands-free doffing.

The comfort of these work shoes is enhanced with a removable, cushioned insole that absorbs shock and wicks moisture.
