ASSP Welcomes Jim Frederick to Speak at Safety 2021 in Austin, TX

OSHA has faced many unique challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also working to ensure employers continue to comply with regulations and other measures to protect their workers against hazards known to cause fatalities, injuries and illnesses. The agency’s top official, Jim Frederick, Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, will be on hand to discuss the agency’s activities and initiatives, including an update on COVID-19, heat stress, other rulemaking and topics such as management systems. Having worked as a safety professional in the field for many years, he brings a unique perspective to his role with OSHA and will share some of those insights as well.

Mr. Frederick’s presentation to Safety 2021 attendees will be on Wednesday, September 15  at 7:30 AM CT at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX. A recording of his presentation will be available on demand for all attendees of both the in-person and online event.
