Bevco Achieves GREENGUARD Certification That Demonstrates Seating Products Have Low Chemical Emissions

Achieving GREENGUARD Certification is just one of many sustainability initiatives at Bevco

Waukesha, WI – November 20, 2015 ― Bevco, a leading manufacturer of ergonomic seating solutions, is proud to announce that it has earned GREENGUARD Gold Certification for select seating products, which demonstrates that the products have low chemical emissions and do not contribute to poor indoor air quality.

While we had tracked and measured our progress internally, we felt a third party certification like UL’s GREENGUARD Certification brings credibility to our message and distinguishes our products,” said Sylvia Williams, Vice President – Sales & Marketing of Bevco.

UL’s GREENGUARD Gold Certification program addresses the human health component of sustainability and means that Bevco’s GREENGUARD Certified seating contributes to less indoor air pollution while aiding in the creation of healthier indoor environments.

To achieve GREENGUARD Gold Certification, Bevco seating products underwent rigorous testing for thousands of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Only products that meet UL’s stringent chemical emission limits achieve GREENGUARD Gold Certification.
