Notes to editors:

Casella’s product focuses at the show will include:

  • Apex2 I.S™ Personal Sampling Pumps– a range of Intrinsically Safe (IECEx) and QPS certified body-worn pumps for sampling the air for contaminants that might pose a health risk, such as hazardous silica dust. The Apex2 I.S is compatible with the Casella AirwaveTM App, which is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. Enabling users to remotely start, pause or stop a measurement run, the app allows collected data to be emailed directly to multiple users’ inboxes, simplifying the reporting process.
  • Guardian2– Recently recognized with a 2019 Product of the Year award by Environmental Protection magazine, the Guardian2 is equipped with a photoionization detector (PID) that measures for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOC levels need to be continually monitored to ensure the work site is safe for operation, and to safeguard against health implications, and the Guardian2 can produce text or email alerts when limits are exceeded.
  • VAPex – Recently presented with the 2019 Product of the Year award by Occupational Health & Safety magazine, the VAPex operates with a flow rate of 20 mL to 500 mL/min, is intrinsically safe and assists occupational hygienists in the measurement of chemical exposure levels. The pocket-sized sampling device allows the user to easily carry the pump around a job site and features a run time of over 34 hours under typical operating conditions. In addition, the VAPex pump is designed with three LED lights that indicate battery status at a glance, preventing any unexpected charge failures that might disrupt monitoring activity.
  • dBadge2 I.S™ Noise Dosimeter– an ideal tool for workplace noise assessments that provides a variety of advanced features for personal noise monitoring. The dBadge2 I.S personal noise dosimeter has been designed to be suitable for use in potentially explosive areas, such as those found in the oil and gas, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. The dBadge2 I.S is also compatible with the Airwave App, allowing for remote access monitoring and easier collection and transmission of data.
