David Hawking Named Akro-Mils Regional Sales Manager

akromils1015-4October 2015, Akron, Ohio — Akro-Mils, a North American leader in storage, organization and transport products, announces that David Hawking has been named Regional Sales Manager for the company’s Midwest Sales Territory. Based in the Chicago area, Hawking will report to Doug Trasatt, Akro-Mils’ Director of Sales and Marketing.

Hawking comes to Akro-Mils as an experienced and successful sales management professional with a background in providing security-related products to the transportation, logistics and electric utility markets. He previously was National Sales Manager for North America at TydenBrooks, Inc. in Angola, Ind., and he had several sales positions at E.J. Brooks, Inc. in Livingston, N.J.

Hawking — a resident of Downers Grove, Ill. — has a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis., and he has taken advanced field sales management courses at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
