Honeywell Intelligrated Showcases Next-Generation Robotics and Automation Solutions at PACK EXPO 2019

  • Robotic palletizers, autonomous mobile robotics, and voice-guided software on display in Central Hall booth C-3136
  • Interactive demonstrations include augmented reality tech support using smart glasses for maintenance and repair operations

Honeywell Intelligrated today announced its booth demonstrations featuring recently released automated material handling technologies and intelligent robotics solutions at this year’s PACK EXPO in Las Vegas.

From September 23-25, Honeywell Intelligrated will showcase its latest solutions, strategic collaborations and future innovations for manufacturing and distribution centers, including robotic palletizing and depalletizing solutions, autonomous mobile robots and voice-guided technologies for workers. Attendees will find practical solutions for some of the biggest supply chain challenges facing the packaged goods industries today — from addressing real-time asset monitoring to maximizing labor productivity — all while minimizing costly downtime.

Increasing productivity demands and diverse packaging requirements have necessitated more robust, adaptable and flexible features. To help address this need, Honeywell Intelligrated has developed new palletizing and depalletizing robotic solutions, which may now be equipped with advanced diagnostics and predictive failure capabilities to improve the throughput rates and uptime of mission-critical production operations. These robots will be showcased during the event in tandem with the company’s Palmat conveyor to illustrate the use of robotics in palletizing and depalletizing application.

Honeywell Intelligrated, in collaboration with Fetch Robotics, will feature demonstrations of voice-guided solutions involving mobile robots to receive and transport cases to predetermined locations within the booth. In addition, booth visitors can learn how voice software can be used to perform guided preventive maintenance inspections to prevent system downtime.

Visitors will also see a Connected Assets demo that highlights how enterprise-wide general asset management software integrates equipment and systems to increase overall productivity, throughout and reliability.

Finally, visitors may participate in an interactive demo of TechSight, an augmented-reality maintenance solution to help customers decrease unplanned downtime and reduce service costs. Visitors will be able to use smart glasses while interacting with the company’s Tech Support team to solve a given maintenance problem.
