Oberon’s ISO Certification Announcement

Industry-leading arc flash suit manufacturer, Oberon Company is proud to announce effective April 26, 2018 ISO 9001 certification. The company has invested over a year preparing for these registrations and underwent a careful evaluation process that included: quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.

Oberon applied for ISO 9001 certification as a proactive effort to not only anticipate the demands of its customers, but also demonstrate its commitment to providing quality products and services.

As outlined by ISO 9001 Oberon

  1. Demonstrates its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
  2. Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Scope: Manufacture of Safety Products and Arc Flash Protective Garments including Clothing for Electrical and Gas Utility Workers, as well as Heat Reflective Garments, Face Shields, Spectacles, Hard Hats and Related Products
