Pennsylvania Scale Company Introduces New Aluminum Series Platform Scales

Pennsylvania Scale Company, a leading U.S. manufacturer of scales and scale indicators, has added an Aluminum Series to its offering.

Products in the new Aluminum Series include A6600 Floor Scales and A6400 Single Point Bench and Floor Platforms. Both are reportedly constructed of high-strength, low-weight aluminum to provide durable, portable weighing solutions that can withstand demanding industrial applications.

At less than half the weight of mild steel (MS) or stainless steel (SS), the aluminum platforms in this Series are reportedly easy to move, relocate, and drill/machine in the field when adding fixtures or unique commodity holders is desired. Aluminum construction could be ideal for industrial environments because it resists corrosion commonly caused by air, water, and chemicals without the need for additional finishing. The raw aluminum surface is sanitary, colorless, and non-staining and can be easily recycled.

The Aluminum Series is also compatible with other Pennsylvania Scale Company products, so common parts and accessories are interchangeable with MS and SS series products. Custom sizes and designs are available without extending delivery time.
