STUDSON Opens New Headquarters with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

North American safety helmet and accessory maker STUDSON marked the grand opening of its new 42,815 square foot headquarters at the Sherwood Commerce Center in Sherwood, Oregon, on May 14, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring company executives, local dignitaries, partners, neighbors, and customers.

The occasion highlighted STUDSON’s success in disrupting the construction and industrial head safety market with the introduction of the SHK-1 safety helmet and accessories in 2021. Between 2022 and 2024, STUDSON increased sales by 706 percent, prompting a move to Sherwood from its previous location in Tigard, Oregon, in the first quarter of 2025.

The move comes at a pivotal moment for the company as it seeks to accelerate innovation and improve order processing amid growing demand for its above-the-neck personal protective equipment (PPE). The facility features multiple office suites, conference rooms, collaborative spaces, and a warehouse that is 28,000 square feet larger than its previous location.

“Our new Sherwood headquarters is a notable milestone for STUDSON. We sold and shipped more than 362,000 safety helmets last year, and we’re projected to surpass that in 2025,” said Ryan Barnes, founder and CEO, STUDSON. “The new office — especially the warehouse space — is mission-critical for meeting the significant demand from industrial organizations opting for STUDSON safety helmets and accessories over the traditional hard hats of yesteryear.”

The event included representatives from the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce, Schnitzer Properties, the American Heart Association, and key technology partners, including Koroyd, Twiceme Technology, Fidlock, and HighBar.

“Just five years ago, we were still operating out of a garage part time,” added Barnes. “I can’t express how grateful I am for the support of our customers, team, technology partners and our new community in Sherwood.”
