Top 6 River Systems Highlights from ProMat DX

This year’s ProMat DX, like many things this past year, looked a bit different than previous conferences as the event took place in a completely virtual format. Nevertheless, the digital event, designed to give manufacturing and supply chain professionals cutting edge education,  featured a full lineup of compelling keynote speakers, seminars, product demos and networking sessions allowing us to connect with colleagues and industry leaders.

6 River Systems shared several exciting announcements this week at ProMat. As the conference comes to a close, here are the highlights from our team:

• Footwear brand Crocs led a seminar discussing how the company quickly deployed a popup warehouse in just 90 days, in partnership with supply chain consultants Sedlak and our team at 6RS, to support their 2020 peak season. As a result, Crocs saw a 182% pick rate improvement reaching full volume within two days of go-live. The warehouse was also able to reduce training time from 1 week to one day.
• Our co-founder and co-CEO Jerome Dubois had the opportunity to introduce the keynote session, “Beyond COVID-19: Building Supply Chain Resilience.”
• Jerome also joined Rick Goe, VP of Supply Chain Management at DM Fulfillment Services, for “Building a Business with 6 River Systems featuring DM Fulfillment.” The seminar discussed how our wall-to-wall solution helped the company flex their fulfillment muscles to not only survive the pandemic, but also grow their business.

Jerome reflected on 6 River’s partnership with DM and noted, “I think it’s a great example of how a technology provider can work with a service provider like [DM] and really align itself toward the end goal of making sure that these things were all in place with the foresight of getting flexible technologies in place prior to a pandemic…we’re thrilled to be a part of this voyage.” 

• We released an interactive “pick with Chuck” video during the conference – a virtual experience that gave all ProMat attendees an opportunity to pick with our collaborative robot in a realistic warehouse setting from the comfort of their own office.
