Ergodyne Launches A Cut-Resistant Sleeve That’s Truly Comfortable
Ergodyne expands their lineup of innovative protective gear with the release of their new ProFlex® A4 Moisture-Wicking Cut Resistant Sleeve. This sleeve offers ANSI A4 level cut protection, moisture-wicking capabilities and breathability the entire length of the sleeve.
“So many cut-resistant sleeves out there are actually pretty uncomfortable,” says Aaron Skemp, Product Manager, Ergodyne. “We wanted to create something that workers will want to keep on all day, so we looked into materials that aren’t currently in the marketplace until now.
The new ProFlex® Cut-Resistant Sleeve is made from TenaLux™ yarn, which is an engineered polyester that offers ANSI A4 level cut protection without the irritating glass or steel fibers commonly found in other cut-resistant products. This TenaLux™ yarn is exclusive to Ergodyne and is unique in how it feels on the worker. “These sleeves actually feel cool to the touch against your skin, and they wick sweat away, making them the coolest feeling cut-resistant sleeves on the market,” Skemp adds.
These sleeves come in two lengths: 18” and 22” to fit a range of workers. The hi-vis lime-colored stretchy material with top hook-and-loop strap offers a secure fit on most arms and the integrated thumbhole keeps the sleeves in place, eliminating potential snag hazards.
“We’ve had these sleeves in the field already with a few testers, and have been getting great feedback. Workers are really liking how these sleeves feel when worn all day. They’re saying they’re comfortable, breathable, not irritating and feel cooler than others they’ve tried before. We’re excited to get them on more workers soon,” Skemp adds.
