Ergodyne ‘Thinks Small’ About Knee Health With New Mini Kneeling Pad

When it comes to big knee problems, it’s the little things that add up. It’s also the little things that can help prevent them, like Ergodyne’s new 4x6in ProFlex® Mini Kneeling Pad, offering workers big knee protection in an easy to carry package.

The new kneeler is built with all the great features of Ergodyne’s regular size kneeling pads, but sized to clip to belts and store in tool boxes. It’s a cushy, convenient landing spot for workers who maybe aren’t kneeling all day, but still have to take a knee from time to time.

“We’ve had a lot of requests over the years from people like meter readers and service techs for something like this,” said Aaron Skemp, Product Specialist, Ergodyne. “Folks who are on the move, but still find themselves on one knee frequently and often settle for makeshift knee protection like kneeling on a glove, if anything at all.”

“Now they have proven protection, sized to their needs,” continued Skemp.

The ProFlex® 365 Mini Kneeling Pad features:

  • Compact size for optimal portability & storage
  • Convenient loop allows for hanging storage or to easily carry
  • Available alone or with a Squids® Grabber or Carabiner
  • NBR foam padding (1 in. / 25 mm.) nonconductive and keeps its shape over time
  • Dimensions: 4in. x 6in. x 1in. (10cm. x 15cm. x 2.5cm.)

The slow progression of cumulative knee injuries can make it easy to ignore proper knee protection at first, especially for workers who are on their knees only periodically throughout the day, as opposed to a carpet layer or tile setter.

“But just because they’re not on their knees all day doesn’t mean they’re not at risk for knee injuries and lower back stress,” said Tom Votel, President & CEO, Ergodyne. “Not to mention that pain-free kneeling can increase productivity.”

“So don’t be fooled by the ProFlex® 365 Mini Kneeling Pad’s diminutive size,” Votel continued. “It packs all the protection a worker needs to help take care of valuable and vulnerable knees.”
