Ergodyne Responds to Increase in Dropped Object Injuries & Fatalities with Six New Preventive Solutions

Ergodyne bolstered its offering of dropped object prevention solutions with ten new additions to the Arsenal® and Squids® lines.

All of the new products are reportedly certified to the ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 dropped object standard, including the company’s first-ever ANSI 121-approved hoist buckets and bolt bags. The bundle also features new lanyards for tethering heavy objects to the worksite, traps for protecting expensive radios and bulk packs of the popular 3100 Tool Lanyard.

The launch includes:

Arsenal® Nylon Hoist Bucket with Zipper Top

  • ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 approved for dropped object prevention, third-party certified to 100 pounds/ 45 kilograms safe working capacity;
  • Zippered top ensures tools do not spill out while at heights; and
  • Three models: 5973 (large – D-Rings), 5974 (large – Swiveling Carabiner) and 5976 (XL – Swiveling Carabiner).

Arsenal® Topped Bolt Bags

  • ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 approved for dropped object prevention, third-party certified to 20 pounds / 9.1 kilograms safe working capacity;
  • One-handed cinch top for convenient access and secure storage of tools while at heights; and
  • Two models: 5926 (short) and 5928 (tall).

Squids® Heavy-Duty Tool Lanyards

  • ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 approved for dropped object prevention, third-party certified to 80 pounds / 36 kilograms safe working capacity;
  • Designed to tether heavy tools directly to the structure or jobsite; and
  • Two models: 3148 (XL Locking Carabiner + Loop) and 3149 (XL Locking Carabiner + Swivel Carabiner).

Squids® 3772 Radio Holster Trap

  • ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 approved for dropped object prevention;
  • Rugged polyester with heavy-duty elastic hook & loop to protect expensive radios; and
  • One model: 3772 (small or large).

Squids® 3100 Single Locking Carabiner Tool Lanyard Multi-Packs

  • Available in 10-count and 100-count bulk packs.
