Ergodyne Adds More Cool, ANSI-Compliant Hi-Vis to GloWear® Line

As outdoor work increases with the temperature, Ergodyne has announced a new addition to its GloWear® Hi-Vis Apparel Line to help workers be seen and stay cool.

The new 8009 Hi-Vis Mesh Leg Gaiter compliments the six new GloWear® offerings rolled out by Ergodyne ahead of last construction season, including the 8005 Hi-Vis Mesh Neck Shade, 8280BK Type R Class 2 Black Front Performance T-Shirt, and 8253HDZ Type R Class 2 Heavy-Duty Mesh Surveyors Vest.

“This breathable all-mesh leg gaiter option allows workers to add more day and night visibility to stay safe during warm weather work,” said Aaron Skemp, product specialist, Ergodyne.

In addition to the polyester mesh and 2” reflective strips both – ANSI-compliant – a drawstring closure provides a more snug and secure fit compared to similar products that use elastic bands.

According to the National Safety Council (NSC), preventable injuries and fatalities experience an uptick during the summer months, including those resulting from struck-by accidents. In addition to education and training, ANSI-compliant high-visibility garments play a key role in the mitigation of those risks.
