This ANSI Z98.1 Certified Type II, Class E industrial climbing helmet offers superior impact protection while working at heights, ground level and in confined spaces. The Traverse™ features a super lightweight ABS shell and an integrated EPS inner shell foam liner that work in conjunction with the highly adjustable 4-point HDPE inner suspension to provide exceptional protection from top of head and lateral impact hazards. Innovative Mips® technology delivers a low friction layer that allows the head to move inside the helmet (10mm – 15mm relative motion in all directions) which can redirect the harmful rotational motion otherwise transferred to the head from modern day angled impacts. With 11 total accessory slots for accessories – including ANSI Z87.1 certified retractable eye lens – this helmet makes for a versatile option on any job site.
