A+A 2025 International Congress Call for Papers

Fresh ideas are being sought for the 39th International A+A Congress 2025.

Basi, the German Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health, is organizing the 39th International A+A Congress, taking place concurrently with A+A 2025, International Trade Fair with Congress for Safety, Security and Health at Work, from November 4 – 7, 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

All proposals for the 39th International A+A Congress 2025 can be conveniently submitted online using an interactive form at https://www.basi.de/aa-congress/

The A+A Congress 2025 will focus on the following core topics:

  • Strategies for the humane design of work;
  • Artificial intelligence (AI) and the digital transformation for occupational safety and health;
  • Sustainability and climate change: consequences for prevention;
  • Safety supervision and preventive measures in occupational medicine;
  • Strategies for prevention in small and medium-sized companies;
  • Health in the world of work;
  • Prevention of biological, chemical and physical hazards;
  • Further topics: industrial, technical and workplace safety; ergonomics and work design; events for specific sectors; traffic safety; target groups and/or networks; and
  • A variety of formats and contributions are possible for the A+A Congress – from World Café to the fishbowl. Speakers can also attend the congress and present their contribution virtually.

The submission deadline is October 31, 2024. An overview of the planned sessions at the congress will be announced at the beginning of 2025.
