Bollé Safety Earns EcoVadis Gold Medal Sustainability Accreditation

Bollé Safety is proud to announce that its European division has been awarded a prestigious EcoVadis sustainability Gold Medal accreditation. This recognition places the company amongst the Top 5 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis in more than 175 countries worldwide, and underscores Bollé Safety’s dedication to sustainability and responsible business practices.

Part of the Bollé Brands group, Bollé Safety is the leading global brand in the PPE eyewear market with over 14 million wearers including construction and industrial workers across a number of sectors as well as first responders, military personnel, healthcare professionals, office workers and shooting enthusiasts across the world.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized and independent sustainability assessment platform that evaluates companies’ environmental, social, and ethical performance. Achieving this accreditation demonstrates Bollé Safety’s exceptional efforts in sustainability across various areas, including environmental impact reduction, ethical business conduct, and social responsibility.

The EcoVadis Gold Medal accreditation adds to a growing list of sustainability initiatives and achievements from Bollé Safety and the wider Bollé Brands group, which launched an innovative new ESG strategy in early 2023. The new strategy underscores important commitments by the group such as reducing carbon emissions of each of its products by 35 percent by 2027, guaranteeing 100 percent of packaging will be eco-friendly by 2025, and ensuring 90 percent of its product ranges are eco-designed by 2027.
