Nightstick Announces New Dual Beam Lighting System

The LGL-180-IR is a dual-wavelength weapon lighting system for your rifle or carbine. A hybrid dual reflector with two dedicated LEDs for IR and VIS means no compromise when choosing an operational light mode. Each beam is optimally focused for ultra-high intensity and maximum distance.

The LGL-180-IR projects 1100 lumens of visible white light out to 229 meters for 2 hours of runtime, while a separate 1400mw 940nm IR illuminator beam provides a similar range, intensity and runtime during night vision use.

A tactile, rotating collar on the bezel allows the user to select visible (VIS) or infrared (IR) modes, or OFF by feel. The light comes installed with a standard tail cap switch and reversible thumbscrew Picatinny mount. It can alternatively be mounted with the included offset Picatinny mount, providing flexible options to clear front sights and other mounted equipment while allowing easy support hand activation.

• Includes both standard and 90-degree offset Picatinny rail mounts, tail cap and 6″ remote pressure switches.

Both the tail cap switch as well as the included 6-inch remote pressure pad/switch feature momentary or constant-on modes. The kit also includes an RPS Picatinny rail mount and Nightstick-exclusive wire management rail clamp to prevent cable snags. The LGL-180-IR weapon light kit includes a pair of CR123 batteries. The multi-fuel LGL-180-IR also runs on a single 18650 li-ion battery (sold separately).

Additionally, Nightstick also developed the LGL-RPS4 optional dual-pad remote pressure switch for the LGL-180-IR with secondary Crane connector for controlling an additional laser aiming device (LAD).
