ASSP Foundation Receives Landmark Gift to Drive Workforce Development
The American Society of Safety Professionals is pleased to announce the ASSP Foundation received a landmark $325,000 gift from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Foundation.
The ASSP Foundation – the charitable arm of the Society – promotes environmental health and safety (EHS) as a valuable career choice. It helps build a sustainable talent pipeline to make all industries safer worldwide, aiming to attract and develop new EHS professionals while enhancing the knowledge and skills of EHS students and current safety professionals.
The ASSP Foundation provides free training and career support resources as individuals transition and grow in their professional journeys.
“The historic BCSP gift enables our ASSP Foundation to actively develop program enhancements and new initiatives, bolstering our efforts in creating the safety and health workforce of the future,” said Linda Tapp, CSP, ALCM, CPTD, president and foundation chair, ASSP.
