Maryland Tech Council Honors Barcoding, Inc. as Technology Company of the Year

We are very happy to announce that the Maryland Tech Council (MTC), Maryland’s largest technology trade association, has named us as their Technology Company of the year. The winners were announced on June 1, 2017 during the Annual Industry Awards at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.

The Annual Industry Awards recognize Maryland’s life sciences and technology groups, and hold one of the state’s most respected and well known award ceremonies. This year, the ceremony had over 900 life science and technology executives in attendance.

“We congratulate the finalists for this year’s Industry Awards Celebration and are proud to have them as part of our business community. These executives and companies truly exemplify the most innovative and inspirational work in the region,” said Brad Phillips, Director of Emerging Company services at PwC and Chairman of the IAC nominating committee.

The Council

The MTC works with the biotechnology and advances technology groups of Maryland. Their mission statement reads: “Maryland Tech Council represents the life science and technology community by fostering innovation through networking, mentoring and advocating for a healthy business climate so businesses can thrive and prosper.” MTC is Maryland’s largest technology trade group with over 600 members.

We are headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland and have a focus on supply chain analytics and architecture, RFID technology, and data capture. Our main goals are to help company’s cut operational costs, increase revenue, and create better customer experiences.
